The Faces of Stormy Farms: Meet the Family & Animals Behind Our Grassfed Meat
Our Story
What began as Sam's passion project in 2017 to clear 73 acres of overgrown land near Carthage has grown into the Stormy Farms you know today.
Sam is dedicated to farming as nature intended - without pesticides, antibiotics, or hormones, starting with respect for the soil. We use minimal tilling, adding compost and animal waste to enrich the land naturally. Our animals graze freely through pastures, helping maintain healthy soil that, in turn, nourishes them.
This approach, known as regenerative or as we like to call it, “respectful”, farming, allows our animals to thrive and produce healthy food for families in our Missouri community. Strong, happy animals—hens with golden-yolked eggs, shiny-coated cows, and robust pigs—are the result.
